Wine is commonly used in religious ceremonies. Wine is also used in social gatherings such as parties and weddings. People have been drinking wine since the ancient times. In the Middle East, people have been making wine from dates and tamarinds for over 6000 years. In ancient Egypt, wine was heavily taxed and drunk by only the rich because most people were employed as farmers.
In the United States, the legal drinking age is 21 years old. In most states, it is illegal to buy alcohol if you are under this age. In some countries, the legal drinking age is 18. Some countries allow children to drink alcohol under adult supervision. In the United States, selling alcohol to minors or allowing them to drink alcohol on your property is illegal even if you are with your parents.
In some states, you must be 25 years or older to buy alcohol. In these states, you can take an alcohol awareness class in order to reduce your sentence. You can also have your license suspended for up to a year and pay a large fine.
